Our windshield wipers on our Malibu just stopped. Before taking it in and paying a fortune to fix, husband would like to try at home. The fuse is fine. He wants to check the relay but has no idea where to find it on this car. Any ideas?
Also.......is there anything else he should try before giving up?

I know theres different factors that would change these numbers, but does anyone know the approximate gasmileage that this engine (355) with an alderbrock 650 4 barrel carburetor would get? It is in a 1980 Monte Carlo. Also what type of gasoline would be needed Reg. Plus, Premium?

I have a 1990 Chevrolet Cheyenne 1500. Bought the truck from my buddy who hit a pole in it. Had no grille when I bought it, So I bought the grille from the Chevy Dealer near me and I was wondering where I can find the Headlamp assembly that actually "Hold" the lights in. They are sealed beam headlamps. And also, I need the bolts/screws or whatever holds the grille to the truck. If you can answer this preferrably vehicle specific I would appreciate it or anything close. Thx

I am wondering if I should get my timing belt replaced. A mechanic told me that if it is a chain belt, you shouldn't need to change it before 300 000 KM.Timming belts which are made of rubber, should be changed every 100 000KM. I presently have 127 000 KM on my car.

I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500. It has a V-6 engine, has about 21000 miles on it. The trouble I'm having is that the truck is shutting off on its own. No warning sensors are going off. When I am driving it, it jerks a little and then goes back to normal. Could it be that I have dirty fuel injectors, or its about time I change the fuel filter, or could it be something else. Let me know if I need to input more information. Thanks!

2ooo Chevy Silverado service engine light comes intermittenly. Had hand held diognostic done by friend who is a Ford mechanic, he said it was the oxygen sensor behind the catylitic converter. bought a Bosch oxygen sensor to replace, reset computer and light still comes on. Took to Chevrolet garage and they claim the Bosch sensor was weak and needs to be replaced with genuine GM parts. They swapped Bosch sensor with the one in front of converter and diognostics followed error to Bosch sensor. Is it possible to have a a new defective sensor or is Bosch of inferior quality?
