The other guages seem to be acting funny also. The oil pressure is higher than normal and I don't think the gas guage is working correctly either. The temp guage rises and gets close to the red zone but falls if I let off the fuel. Friends at work have suggested the thermostat, heater coil, fuses, and water pump. I checked all fluids this morning. I added some coolant (it was a little low) The fuse for the gauges is fine, but I replaced it anyway. The top hose on the radiator was getting warm, so I assume the thermostat is working. There were no leaks from the water pump, but I guess it could be going out. Can anyone help narrow down this problem before I have to put the truck in the shop? Thanks for any help you can give me.

I have a 1969 DZ 302 out of a 69 Z28 with a forged steel large journal crank, .60 over pistons, new rods and 2.02 heads. I have two holly 660's on a high rise manifold. What would be a good high rpm cam for this engine? I am also shaving and porting the heads and boaring the block over .60. This motor is for a swamp truck so I need a tough cam.

2006 chevy 2500 duramax 4x4. Got stuck today in 4x4 high. Noticed that front drivers tire was not spinning. Got out before going into 4x4 low. Not long after I got the truck I know that all four tires would spin in 4x4 low. Never checked in 4x4 high. Do I have a problem? Am not sure now if all four are spinning in 4x4 low. Will check tomorrow.

We have a 1955 Chevy 2Dr for sale. It was my husbands first car. The VIN number on the dash is now missing and I would like to know where else,( besides the door panel) we could find the number on the frame on this vehicle. We do have the title, but can't seem to match the numbers on the title to the car.
