did the 1975 year come out with the 8-13-8 gauge or D - - - C type? mine as the 8 13 8, could this be the reason mine dosent work, cause where it plugs in theres only 2 prongs (left and right) and the gauge has 3 prongs.

i put in a new battery and autonator on a 1990 chevrolet lumina. the car ran fine before, now runs ruff. computer need to be rest and i need to no how to do this?i have been told to disconnect thepcm for 10seconds, i do not no what the pcm is? and can the battery be disconnected to do this same thing?. is the pcm located on the computer box? if so which wire is to be disconnected?

I found one with 84k miles, for $13,888. It looks like new, fully loaded with leather. Has the 5.3 ltr Vortec. Its seems like a good deal from what im seeing others go for, but has been reduced a time or 2. I put about 50k miles a year on my vehicals.

Water Pump seems to be fine (just replaced it). The thermostat is opening and closing like it should. Temperature is fine at idle and at operating speeds.

There is no return coolant coming back out of the heater core.

What would cause this to happen?

Whenever I'm driving the car and push in the clutch when coming to a stop, the rpm's will drop down to around 500, then move back up to 1000, then back down to 500, and up again...this happens a few times, then it usually goes back to normal. This doesn't happen everytime the clutch is pushed in(or when in nuetral), but it has been happening more frequently. Any ideas what could be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I own a 2000 Corvette LS1 and am thinking about replacing the stock Throttle Body with a 80mm or 90mm Throttle Body. I have heard good things and bad things and am not sure what to believe. Some say ill get substancila air flow and increase my HP and others say ill lose low end tourque and velocity and that that much of a mm is unnessessary. Also will this effect my cars drivability, I use this car as a daily driver and dont want to mess up throttle response or idle.???? HELP!!!!!!!

I have a 1997 chev cavalier it runs rough and seems like it has no power?
i have changed coil packs ,full tune up ,tested fuel pressure, exhaust is not plugged, changed fuel filter, replaced all fuel injectors , tranny is fine, # 1 and # 4 spark plugs are sooty #2 and # 3 are fine , does any 1 know what symtoms i would run into with a faulty ignition module
getting it checked at auto zone is not an option as i live in canada and we have no places to get them checked

In regards to the 73-87's, Ive seen on alot of them where your going straight yet the steering wheel is slightly turned left or right or even the center is up and down. if I'm going straigh the center cap is pointing in the direction of about 2:00. does anybody know how to fix this short of buyin a steering box?

how do you check the fuel injectors on a 2003 chev tahoe, my tahoe stalls, when i let off the gas, like coming to a stop, making a turn, backing up...the engie will start up with no problem, i've changed my oil, oil filter, fuel pump, fuel screen, fuel filter, given my tahoe a full tune up, still stalling when rpm's drops below 5

my montecarlo has a bore out 30 over 350 to make a 355, with header, vortec heads, ligh cam, and a rebuild 2004r tranny with stallconverter and shift kit. my friends charger is stock with 20'' wheels, but he has a computer programmer AKA a chip. my question is if we were to race who would probly win, in the 1/4mile and in top end?
