you want enough pipe to cause the sound to reverb and amplify as its going through the pipes about a foot from the rear should be good just watch out for weak made pipes as they can send shrapnel into the air

the more pipe you have AFTER the cherry bombs, the louder it will be, as it will have an echo effect.
