And also i want to know if it is safe, if not what about a sunroof?

The amount of work would be unreal!!! A sunroof is easier and will be less prone to leak so bad.

Well, halfway right here. The first t-tops were actually aftermarket. C&c to my knowledge made none for the 78-88 G bodies...so it would be factory tops. You would have to find a donor car and splice the roof panel...then you would need specific weatherstripping-which is almost certainly not available...when done the conversion will exceed the value of the vehicle. Still that can be said about almost all hobby cars and bikes. It is a full frame car and pretty stiff, so som additional bracing used(nor in any T-top application I am aware of).

Why don't you just buy one with factory T-tops or a sunroof, and sell the one you have? T-tops wouldn't work, first of all, and most non-factory sunroofs leak.
