did the 1975 year come out with the 8-13-8 gauge or D - - - C type? mine as the 8 13 8, could this be the reason mine dosent work, cause where it plugs in theres only 2 prongs (left and right) and the gauge has 3 prongs.

the d---c is an amp meter
I had a 76 4x4 a long time ago and I think it had the 8 13 18 Voltage guage

Huh? The guage that is in the vehicle is for that vehicle. If it is not working, then check the wiring in the guage circuit. It wouldn't matter what the face of it says. Actually the "8-13-8" and the "C---D" are both ammeters so either one woud do the same.
