Usually a bad or blown head gasket has the same effect on all cars.
1) Smoke/steam blowing out of your tailpipe.
2) The coolant in your radiator will keep requiring filling up (can also be a bad water pump).
3) Car will run badly, or not at all.
Depending on how well the car was maintained, it might have any number of problems - if it was run without enough oil, or without regular oil changes, it may have severe internal damage.

water in your oil or oil in your water, also if you take off your radiator cap and start the engine water will pulse out of the radiator.
