check your engine temperature.........it should average 195 to210.F.........if this is OK....see if your vehicle is equip ted with a heater control valve.[ I assume your saying you have no heat] if so it is located in one of the 2 heater hoses.......touch the hoses briefly to see if they re both hot .....if only one is warm & the other is cold.....your valve is shut off or you have a obstruction in your hoses,lines, valve,or heater core.............most valves[not all] can be manualy operated.....rotate flange at valve...till you can feel the other hose warm up.....most valves are vacuum operiated.

Quite possibly an air pocket, that will eventually come out, some of these are a real pain to get air out of!!!

It may not be the thermostat... it maybe the guage in the car...
