I have a Rockford-Fosgate cd/mp3 player in my integra, and its only a few years old. The radio started being weird lately. It will be coming in fine (FM), perfectly clear, and then all of a sudden it cuts out and goes to static and i cant get any stations at all, nothing but pure static. My antenna is up the whole time. Then after a few minutes the signal will suddenly be back 100%. It doesnt fade in and out, its just there and then gone. I live in a big city with lots of stations near by. What could be causing this?

What amp would be best for these kind of speakers and I am not looking to dropp alot of money on the amp I think under 300 for the amp is good.

I purchased 4 new "whitewall" tires from Walmart in Henderson, NC in 2/05. Now I find out that the tires put on my car were "blackwall". In speaking with the service manager today he told me that there are no "whitewalls" for this type of car. Is this true? He said that on this type of car they did not make "whitewall" tires to fit it.

im putting in power distrubator
i have a set of neons and underbody kit strobes a power window kit and a 3 port power port what gague wire you thing its a 6 terminal block with 30 amps out of each

the package says
wiring:Output Terminals -.250"x.032" QC rated 30A max Per circuit; Input terminals -#10-32 stud input rated 100A max

Recommended wire size:Input power #4-6; Output circuity #12-16

does that mean anything to anyone im guessing the #10-32 and #4-6 is gauge size but then which one do i use the 10-32 or the 4-6

waht gauge wire do u recomend

it has 260k miles. just rebuilt the engine and tranny a month ago.

the 250$ a month on a new or used car, worth putting into this one?

Hey guys! Ok so over the summer i just got my drivers permit right before the new law changed that you have to have 50 hours of practice instead of 25. Well, since I got my permit BEFORE the law was passed, can i still get 25? or do i have to get 50 now.
im 16, and have had my permit for way over 3 months, so the hours is the only thing holding me back. does anyone know?? I'd like to hear guesses also.

I have a Memphis 15-ms124d. its continuous power handling is 200 watts, although the maximum power handling is 400. the guy at the store told me you can put 400 into each no problem. is that true? thanks

I just had a car stereo installation done. After I left, I started experiencing this problem. The speakers are polk momo 5 1/4s and 6x9s getting powered from a jvc kd g510 head unit. Everything appears to work fine at lower volume levels, but once I turn it up high (not really loud or even coming close to distortion), the speakers cut out so all I can hear are the subwoofers. The place that installed it tested the speakers with a volt meter at the connections on the back of the head unit and said they all checked out so he believes its a problem with my head unit itself. By the way the speakers are brand new, the head unit was taken out of my old car, but worked fine. Can someone please help me with this and give me ideas of what could be wrong. I'm going back to the place tomorrow and I would like to have a list of things for him to check since he seems to be set on the fact I have a faulty head unit. Thanks

I am looking for subs for my car perferably 12's and I don't have a huge budget. I was wondering on the cheaper subwoofers does anyone know about them like plye, legacy and subs in the lower rang. Nothing like JL or kicker. Also I was wondering if a cheap amp at walmart might work? I want some bass to shake the car a little but don't want extreme bass. I want it to sound nice not to just shake the car.

I guess some wiring must be loose or what do u think other problem might be? Before I take it to a mechanic, I want to know what the problem is...any insight from ppl. well-versed in dealing with this kinda problem would sure be appreciated. Also...how do I take the whole system out of the dash-board to look @ it more carefully and probably with help from YA ppl. here who knows I might be able to fix it myself. ok this is weird, ( has never happened to me) when my system is on every now and then there is this weird sound that comes outta my subs, like a whining soundyou can even here it if the volume is turned to 1. if I turn it up is stays the same (the noise)? it only happens every now and then, what can it be, And how do I fix it? A noise suppressor????

Hi,

I recently replaced my car radio, and lost the key code. after much agrevation I got the code. I enter the code press "ok" and then the screen reads WAIT, for ten minutes then the screen goes back to reading code, I enter it again and it reads WAIT once more, this repeats every ten minutes. It is the factory installed radio for mercedes kompressor.
Can you offer any advice?

i have a 2005 pontiac grand prix i set the alarm last night and my car was keyed why didnt the alarm go off? did i set it wrong ?
i used my remote key fob. i heard the horn go off red light was on on the dash. so i assumed the alarm was set fine? damn now i have $1200. in damage and im wodering why the damn alarm didnt go off??
