ok this is weird, ( has never happened to me) when my system is on every now and then there is this weird sound that comes outta my subs, like a whining soundyou can even here it if the volume is turned to 1. if I turn it up is stays the same (the noise)? it only happens every now and then, what can it be, And how do I fix it? A noise suppressor????

You got two possible problems that I can think of off the bat. One is a loose sub. It could be vibrating against the mount. Tighten everything down before you spend money on the problem. Two is, if you don't have a capacitive noise suppressor in line from your power supply, it could be whine from the alternator. Of course, there are other reasons for spurious noise. Including stuff loose in the car/trunk, that is vibrating (harmonics) with a/the sub(s).

Possibly it's ready to blow. Might want to change the fuse on the amp. But I agree with the other guy, it could be the high-pitched whirring noise from the alternator. Although, I always thought everything was hooked up to the battery, not the alternator. But I'm not a car person. LOL

molly, you should be reported for that. you're not even helping him. i'd say that it's your subs, maybe they got blown from you bumpin so hard lol. get a meter on your subs, and test them out, if it's not the subs, check your head unit, or your amp.

Process of elmination, check all of your grounds first. Test again. Check or change patch cables. Test again. Check each sub at a time. Test again. Ect.......

Why dont you throw the subs out your window when you are dirving, those things are stupid and annoying and make you look dumb while you sit in your crappy car, thinking you are cool
