i have a credit score of 678 on transunion and 672 on experian. the problem i have is my equifax score is 622. all the information on all 3 reports is identical, but the scores are insanely different.

I read that equifax is most commonly used in auto loans and this is going to be a huge problem for me. how can i get an auto lender to pull my report with transunion or experian and not equifax? or how can i find out which lenders only use transunion or experian?

I'm buying a new car but it has to be second-hand. I've heard that if you buy a car that is 5 or 6 years old that you run the risk of things starting to go wrong with it as it is about this time with most cars that part replacements are needed. If this is true, is it worth my while, spending a bit more and buying a car that is 2 or 3 years old instead? or is it possible to buy a 5 or 6 year old car without running into major problems. Any advice appreciated and thanks!

I bought a car back in May. I had a good job at the time. I have made 2payments but none since, as I lost my job. When I origionally bought the car, I bought it w/the condition the dealer would put cruise control in it. It is a 2006 model. Since i have been getting the run around on getting it installed. One excuse after another. I am to the point that I am tired of dealing w/the dealership and ready to let it go back. I can pay the 2 mo i am behind, just havnt hoping they would fix the car as agree'd when i purchased. Is there anything I can do? Also, If i take it up there and park it what is the result of that? I mean just let them have the car back? It is reported on my credit at 60 day late pymnt. Am I going to have a hard time getting financed even at a buy here pay here lot? How does it effect my credit? Thanks

Here in Alberta, the dealer must inspect and disclose any problems to the customer for every used car that they retail to the public.

I got a letter from the Jeep dealership that I have gone to saying that they would like me to trade in my Jeep so that they can meet their quota of the year, make, and model of my Jeep in their used car inventory. In exchange they will sell me a new Jeep, VW, Audi, or Porsche at sale price... There is a Jeep I want, but the monthly payment would be about $100 more a month than I am currently paying. Would the dealership be able to make me a deal on the Jeep that I want so that I would be paying the same monthly payment, or do they have to go with the price that would be listed on jeep.com (I guess that's the MSRP??)?
