fox body 5.0 mustang. one of the cheapest most available cars out there. There are no end to the options of parts available. They are easy to find, and parts are cheap. So you can get a really quick car with little money invested. I'm not sure what you mean by low priced but for less than 15 grand you can have a very fast stang.

Depends if you want used or new. With the cost of gas you need to be concerned about mileage. The Japanese models are the most durable and dependable. Honda Civic and Toyotta Corolla are always good however they are so popular that there prices have gone up even for resales. The Hyundai Accent is a great little first car, has lots of air bags, great gas mileage and is under $15000 new. If you want something different and cute I think the Scion Xb is very neat and it is under $15000 for new also. Check edmonds.com for reviews on each of them.

I think this particular question depends on your personal defination of a good car.I personally believe that nothing good is
cheap, but thats not always the case though.9 out of 10,i preffer
imports to domestic, mainly based on reliability.I believe in the phrase, never buy a new car, always buy a good used car.Under
21 grand,i like toyota celicas, nissan maximas( 02-03),evos,lancers,subaru sti just to mension but a few. They all can
be made to run very fast without any major modes and/or tuners which are a high risk to the electrical system by simply incoorporating high flow intake and exhaust syst. and a turbo and/or supercharger which are fairly cheap and provide amazing results.

I don't think that you can get many good cars for under 30 grand that go fast. If i were you look into a Mazda rx8 or a Nisan skyline.
