No! That car has been driven for most of its good life, you will start to have problems, such as water pump, timing belt, altornatore, starter, battery, clutch and many other things will start to fail! You will spend a lot of cash every month on fixing a worn car. OR you can put a down payment down on a newer car with say 25,000 miles and just make the payment, this way you will know every monththat you need to spend "X" amount every month. If you go with a car with 100,000 you will never know when somthing is going to FALL OFF! It could cost as little as $100 or as much as a $1,000 every month. Are you willing to gamble, your $5,000? Dont get me wrong Toyota is a good car, it just has to many miles on it. Usualy 200,000 is when they go belly up!

I would say no, even if I am driving my corolla right now . its almost 200K miles on it , and the engin sounds great and run wonderful. That is because i own it brand new and I know how i treat my own car, i change oil every 3000 miles, and change tire and tan, this and that.... i just dont trust buy it from someone else with that high of milage at the car.

My answer is a BIG NO.
First that is to much money for a car with that many miles on it.
Look around you can do better.
