I saw this on the news right after I traveled, and I'm about to fly again. I can't find this info any longer. The name of it has to do with a letter plus a word, like "fair" or something.

I took a flight the other day and saw those guys who wave those orange light thingys at planes to direct them. What are thoses people called? And how do you get a job like that? Not that I want one but I'm just curious being that I'm into aviation.

A buddy (yes, really a buddy) has a medical marijuana license and really needs his pot. He will be flying from SFO to LAX soon. Does anybody know airport policy in this situation? I told him about the legal problems with medical marijuana and State vs. Federal law, but he will be traveling within the State of California. A corrolary question would be whether you enter "federal territory" at an airport, and at what point. Any insight?

Some aircraft are designated by numbers but some have the suffex "Heavy" after its number. How big does an airplane have to be to get this, or is there some other reason for this designation. Of what value to the controller or the ATC system is it.

Something like packets of hot cocoa, where the outer wrap is paper, and the inner is foil. Packets would be clearly marked as food, what kind of food, and the manufacturer.

I think it's to big to transport, but if they fly it there, would that mean that plant has to be located on an airfield? or do they just ship it out in pieces, and assemble it on it's destination airfield?
