Perhaps its just a mid-life crisis, but I have determined to finally get my pilot's license and my wife is not only supportive, but wants to pursue her's also. However, I am still struggling to recover from financial issues that followed my first wife's death (makes financing flight school impossible) and supporting my new young family consumes most of what I earn. Help!!! Unused pilot's supplies (training courses, headsets, bags, etc) taking up closet space? CFI's in N.KY willing to work with me? Too many light aircraft in your hanger (I'll need something to build hours in)? Any contributions or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I know this sounds like a silly question, but what are the odds that the airline will let us change a flight time? we have a friend who's flight time isnt convenient. will they let us change the time at no additional cost?

Strikes and Chaos, They are going on stike again !!

Singapore Air are great never had a problem, food good cabin staff excellent.

Virgin are only OK (they ran out of food last time on a 13 hour flight) cabin staff need to smile more

Cathay good

JAL good

If only BA would improve their reliability record we MIGHT consider using them.

The continual sight on TV of Chaos with BA really is awful, the thought of spending days in a tent at Heathrow is very off putting.

Which one is currently winning the battle and selling the most long range planes to large airliners. (Not about the 737 or A320 and stuff) As it seems as much as I love boeing Airbus is a step ahead. With Ethiad and Emirates and Singapore . 777-300 what a beautiful plane. A340-500 or 600. How beautiful. 747-400 maybe A330 maybe 737-900 beautiful so is the 737-300. A321 what a beauty. A318 what a tiny beautiful plane. A300-310 too old. 767 too old

I would have asked the pilots, but it's too loud for them to hear what the hell I'm saying and too rushed for them to care. I noticed that the exaust from Chinooks has a strong sweet, buttery aroma and the exaust from Blackhawks is almost odorless. I know they use the same fuel so I just can't figure out why they smell different.
