Do you fly BA? We travel to the far East often and would like to fly BA.But do not fly BA because see below?

Strikes and Chaos, They are going on stike again !!

Singapore Air are great never had a problem, food good cabin staff excellent.

Virgin are only OK (they ran out of food last time on a 13 hour flight) cabin staff need to smile more

Cathay good

JAL good


If only BA would improve their reliability record we MIGHT consider using them.

The continual sight on TV of Chaos with BA really is awful, the thought of spending days in a tent at Heathrow is very off putting.

No I don't fly BA or anything else because it's too costly, it's bad for the environment, it's relatively more dangerous than walking down to my local beach and finally... I understand I might meet you there! Scary thought...

Anyway, you're moaning because they're standing up for their rights and making a fuss and causing right chaos, just like the French do, eh? At least, THEY are doing something; not letting themselves be treated like rugs.

A lot of the problems with BA stem from the fact that they use Heathrow a lot, the main problems are the security staff (they went on a go slow which forced them to start using tents) and the tents always come out on bad days because they dont employ enough staff anymore. Heathrow is also too small for the number of passengers it takes, always avoid Heathrow if you can.

Agree with you added to that they charge more than other airlines. Virgin cabin crew are a bit surly as I found out on a trip to South Africa. They seemed to be annoyed when you asked for service. They also ran out of the popular meal very quickly and ran out of all food before all passengers were served. South African Airways were OK but were not good on iformation etc especially when booking and confirming.
I will give Singapore airline a go next time.

I feel that BA's legroom is bad, and the service with US flights predominate the service, however the easter flights are really ba, and I would either chhose a company that is local to there or maybe someone like gulf air. It may sound ominous, but their service is in my experience is one of the best.
