The 757-200 holds 11,489 gallons, the 757-300 holds 11,466 gallons.
The price of jet fuel for this past week is about $1.84 per gallon.
This comes to a total price of about $21,000 for a complete fueling of a 757.
Edited to add:
It looks like things are getting out of hand here. People are quoting ridiculous fuel price numbers. Although I already included a reference for my calculations, I will add more proof that my numbers are closer to the actual answer. If we are talking about commercial airliner here, then they are certainly not paying $4-$6/gallon like some other answerers are claiming.
Although this second source (one of many many you can find with a simple search) is a bit dated, it shows what a reasonable figure for fuel costs are currently. The following source gives fuel prices to be "$1.81 per-gallon in January 2006." Gas prices have gone up, sure, but commercial airliners are not paying the prices that several other posters have referenced from AirNav.

There are 3 variants of the 757, each one taking over 11,000 gallons of fuel to fill. Saying they take 11,500 gallons to fill (this is actually a little bit more for 2 of them and a couple hundred more for one of them). Jet Fuel is available in 2 common varieties - 100LL and Jet A. Jet A is a little less than 100LL. The price of the fuel itself varies per airport and per fuel provider. The spread could be as much as several dollars per gallon.
Right now, where I live in Florida, the average price is about $5 per gallon, no matter where you look. The total spread is as low as $2.95 and as high as $6.32, but the general average is around $5 give or take about 5 to 20 cents.
So 11,500 gallons at $5 a gallon = $57,500 to fill that 757 jet.
Now on top of that, there is a federally mandated fuel surcharge as well, depending on how many or how few passengers there are, how many stops the flight makes, and the exact route it takes. This fuel surcharge can be as much as 12.5%
So adding that in too, we get a total of $64,687.50 WITHOUT TAX.
There is a special Aviation Fuel tax based on whether or not the fuel is used in a commercial operation or not.
Commercial operations pay 4.3 cents per gallon. Non-commercial operations pay 21.9 cents per gallon.
So, taking the higher of the two, assuming a private jet, we get 11,500 gallons times $0.219 per gallon = $2,518.50 in taxes
Add that to the price of the fuel itself at $64,687.50, and we get a final total of $67,206.00 to fill the 757 with gas.

Some people are looking at local fuel prices at municipal airports, the airlines do NOT pay these high prices at international airports.

This is not a direct answer... think about your car... depending upon how full your tank already is, and how much you are paying at a particular pump... depends upon the cost.
6.8 Lbs per gallon...at about 2 - 3 dollors a gallon for avfuel....

I would guestimate it would be around 7 to 10 thousand dollars. They can carry large amounts of fuel on them.

Jet fuel is about as little as 7p a litre but a freighter can have 80000 or more litres, so that's about £56000.00
