I'm going to buy my fiance a pocket knife for Valentine's Day. It doesn't have to be the most expensive but I want to know what the best one is ???? Thank You!

In my personal experience at work and play (Construction and Backpacking) I have had the best experiences with Leatherman Multitools and Gerber knives. Both companies make knives for keychains or knives meant to be worn on belts. A good website that reviews a lot of knives is:

I have owned a leatherman micra for several years that I keep on my car keys. I actually lost the first one I got as a present, and had to go out the next day and buy a replacement. It's not a real "perty" knife, but with all the different blades, I use it all the time.

All above answers, and Case. Case knives sometime have stores in outlet malls that offer 50% off. Some other quality brands are Schrade, Imperial, Laguiole and Camillius.

Depending on who you ask, will depend on the answer. If you want the best, you have to buy a Busse. You can't break them, I know, I've tried. They are tools you can genuinly stake your life on. Also, try the M.O.D. series of knives..

Wenger Swiss Amry knives. I keep one on me at all times. Schrade and Gerber are also good.

Buck seems to be brand wise however, any pocket knife that is well made should be fine.
