My husband is flying home form a business trip tonight, but has a 3 hour layover at an airport less than 2 hours from home. He would rather get to see me sooner, than to sit around for 3 hours, then to hop another plane for the short flight home. I was thinking of meeting him and just staying at a hotel to spend some time together, then drive home tomorrow. I was told that Delta will have problem with that because of new security measures and that you cant just NOT take the last leg of a flight... is this true? If so, can how do we go about getting him "excused" from the flight???

either WW2, Korea, Vietnam, the first Gulf War, or current..what would they be?

Mine would be the P-51 Mustang(WW2)or Supermarine Spitfire(Also WW2), F-86 Sabre(Korea), F-100 Super Sabre, F-4 Phantom, B-52 Stratofortress(Vietnam)...it's incredible the B-52 is still used, what an incredible bomber for it's time.
Desert Storm, I'd love to fly the F-117 Nighthawk, as part of the initial strikes on Baghdad. Also the F-16C Fighting Falcon, Tornado, AV-8 Harrier II, and the F-14 Tomcat...which is now retired from service. Nowadays, it would be cool to fly the F-22 Raptor!!!

I know that they have a butt load of titanium over there unlike us in the usa do, but i was wondering, scince titanium weighs more they need more powerful engines right? So why dont they just invest in using new light weight materials to get even more power. If something i said was wrong, or i just mis heard it sorry, but i just dont understand how this all makes sense. What do you think?

Near Alpena, Michigan, there was a military aircraft that went down in the 1970's. I am trying to locate exactly where it went down.

Anyone know?

I have seen a lot of WWII bombers with great nose art. How did the pilots get the pictures so good? did they hire a lot of artists or were a lot of pilots just good at painting?

Works fine when I choose a flight, and also with any aircraft. Only when I try to goto a specific airport, even if I start out in a "select a flight" and try to goto an airport it locks up on the "loading scenery textures" screen. 100% CPU usage. I'm using FS 2002. I have many 3rd party aircraft and scenery, but have never had a problem before. It just started happening on it's own.

I mean seriously they haven't got faster for decades now and with the Concorde out of action i cant see any relief on the horizon. They are making bigger planes but that's easy, build a fast plane. Can you see any relief in the next 50 years? I am serious!
