I parked my car in the parking lot. I looked my left side and it was clear. Then I opened my door, and was going to come out. Right at that moment, another car came to my left side parking space and hit the edge of my left side door. She said that she was sorry about it. Then I called my insurance company and they told me it is my fault 100%. And I will get surcharge, too.

I can't believe this. They hit me and it is my fault.

Any advice?

ok well i have a 1 farad capacitor and i would like to know how to charge it and how it works. I have about 1000 watts rms on my subs.I know it is 1 farad for ever 1000 wats but my subs can only handel 1230 wats peek power so i know that im not pushing any more that 1200 watts on my subs. My amp is 1500.1 watts it is a monoblack. ANd i herd that you need 1 farad for ever 1000 watts. SO i bought a 1 farad. But when i charge it i use a trickel charger for an actual car battery and my lights in my car still dim. On the little ship that i got for my cap it was install directly to capictor and hook um the + and - to a 12 volt source. And i do that but the green light to tell me it is charged never goes off. i had it charging for around 8 hours last night and it was the same thing when i went to bed.

Nedd help pleaseeeeee !!!!!!!!!!!!!

So a customer had their car towed in, 175 bucks We spent 4 hours yesterday diagnosing the problem. Here are the specifics.
1. Fuel delivery OK
2. Timing & ignition OK
3. Hard cranking.
4. Oil on Plugs.
5. New plugs didn't solve issue.
So there is fuel & spark at the right time, starter is fine. air intake is also fine.

We did solve the problem and I didn't charge the customer as we were laughing too much. This is way out there. I will answer it at lunch today. Lets see who can come up with the answer, I will post clues. For all mechanics it is a head shaker.

Okay, I'm no car expert. I'm only a computer geek. But I just want to ask. Does anyone know how to assemble a car? Can a car be assembled by human hand and by yourself with no machines involved?

The government bang on about wanting people to take public transport but it is shocking, cars are so much more convenient and work out cheaper.

Recently my car was in the garage and I had to get the train to work, which is a 20 mile trip each way. In the car it cost me £4 a day in petrol and took half an hour from my doorstep to work. To use public transport took 2 buses to get to the train station and then 25 mins on the train.

I was gobsmacked when for a daily return ticket on the train I had to pay £8, this is just miles more expensive than a car.

And now train fares are going up yet again. It makes me so mad when I hear all these plans to charge motorists more road tax or plans to make motorists pay per mile in the future for how far they drive, yet they continually let rail companies take customers to the cleaners.
They are never even on time either!

I am fed up with it, its about time the government did something to make public transport competitive to the car!

On left turns, I hear a thumping, knocking sound under my feet. At faster speeds, such as left curves on the freeway, there's a vibration or rubbing sound. Also when I am driving straight at fast speeds there's a slight vibration, but not as nearly as bad as the left curve vibration. I had ball joints installed in April, a few weeks ago installed front struts, mounts and rear spring lifters, had a wheel alignment done (car still pulls to the left), and wheel bearings installed. Any answers or suggestions?

My girlfriend was just in a car accident and we need to get a new car. She drives the car for work and i get the train. I only really use it on the weekend.

Can i take out a policy on the new car and have her as a named driver, even tho she is the main driver? It works out much cheaper to do this as she has 6 points and a claim, while i have 2 NCB and a clean licence.

I filled in an online application and one of the options allows me to select "Business Use for All". I assume this will cover both of us for any use regardless of who drives more?

Thanks for your help
