I have replaced all filters & fuel pump. After car dies,,it will restart in 10-15 minutes. Run 5-10 minutes then die again. Also have replaced ignition module (under distributer cap) While it is running it runs great,,just dies for some reason. Also have taken off fuel cap (thinking it might be vapor locked) All this did not solve problem.

I know that steam trains are ok, but what about todays trains, my sister says they run off electricity so they still negatively affect the environment, but are they just as bad as cars? Do they use petrol (trains)?

Lately there is this guy who lives about 10-15 houses further up our road. He recently got a Dewalt sprinter van and tends to enjoy parking right out side our houses (We own 2 houses next to each other 1 all derelict and the other we live in).

Our house is also on a slip road and the road is very narrow making it extremly difficult to get into the drive without some fancy manovers.

This guy who lives no where near this end of the road just keeps parking his damn van here and tends to block up everything. On some occsions he parks on the corner of the slip road making it difficult for people to turn in.

Ive asked nicely but he just doesnt listen and leaves it parked for days before having to go somewhere.

What else can i do to get him to stop. We've got lots of cars of our own and have to park 2 roads away beacause of that thing parking right outside.

I dont want to cause a fight or anything i just want him to stop it. And its not even a one off its all time.

My mother, who lives in Illinois, has a handicap hangtag, and printed on the bottom is "remove while car is in motion" which she does (good for mom). I think that's an important rule as it creates a blind spot for the driver.

My question is if other states have the same instructions printed on the hang tag, and why so many people drive with them in place? It would appear to be a safety hazard, as it blocks the view of traffic towards the right, especially if you are short. Taking it off and storing it takes about 2 to 3 seconds.

I am tempted to encourage my state lawmaker to introduce a bill making it illegal to have anything hanging from the rearview mirror while the vehicle is in motion, since it creates a serious blind spot, which can be avoided.

The check engine light in my truck came on, and I took it to the dealer. They told me that my purge hose was split, and that it would be a few days before it would come in. They said that it was fine to drive, but I was wondering if it is ok to drive without, what exactly does it do?

I just bought a 1994 K2500 w/ 5.7. The engine runs fine when cold but as it warms up it starts to "surge" at idle and when you come to a stop it acts like it wants to stall then it grabs. If you sit at a light for more than a few moments it will start to idle lower and lower until it stalls. I have replaced the TPS , tuned it up , replaced fuel filter, and cleaned out the EGR. I have no codes or lights. BUT If I unplug the MAP sensor the idle is fine but it still feels like it looses power if you are going down the road and try to hold a steady pedal. I feels almost like it is running out of gas. Weak fuel pump? weak pressure reg? I drove this truck home 110 miles with no problems. I put a new exhaust on it and the problems started. O2 sensor? I have a 92 truck with 5.7 that runs great that I have been swapping parts to see if I can find the problem. swapped MAP, Idle control, temp sensor. all dont help the 94 and dont effect the 92.
BAFFLED & FRUSTRATED. PLEASE HELP
THANKS
JOHN

I am angry. I am new in this town. I spend more time in my car than in my office trying to connect to a place. How can i beat this 'traffic jam' as they call it? I am sick and tired of sitting in my car for many hours on end waiting to connect to a place of business. If not for GSM I will loose most of my customers. What do I do? Or rather how can we advice government to deal with this township monster? I prefer to be in my village sometimes where movement is as you want. Help me out. . .

they are disk in front and drum in back. But they are very sensitive at first and today the back wheels locked up on the slightest touch of the pedal. When they warm up they are smooth and I have no problems. Is this something I should worry about?

For a few months I have been hearing a gurgling sound, it sounds like it is coming from the transmission. Yesterday after I had driven about a mile the check gauges light came on, the heat guage showed about 250. I started back home, after about another mile the gauge went back to normal & the light went off. I felt of the radiator, it didn't feel hot.
