Each radio has its own code which is determined by the number on the back of the radio. Special 'handles' are required to get the radio out and they can be expensive. When I had mine done, it was cheaper and easier to take it to a car radio specialist who removed the radio, found out the code, replaced the radio and keyed in the code. He also gave me a note of the code number for future use. £23 well spent as far as I'm concerned. Less hassle as it was done by someone who knew what they were doing.

The radio code is unique to each unit - so the code for your Punto is not the same as someone else's Punto.
There should be a card with the code for your stereo in the wallet with your handbook and service book.
