No, but, I guess most batteries be good. There are some that better, but, for what they cost I get something from Sears, Auto-Zone, Wal-Wort etc.
The trick to a good battery is keeping it serviced. This means keeping the posts clean. Keeping it charged even in winter. I use a 2 amp charger once a month on seasonal batteries, too high an amp can warp the plates so just a small 2 amp on it for 24 hours once a month or maybe a Trickle charger 24/7, never tried a trickle charger. Then keep water in it *Distilled Water* not tap water and not mineral/spring water. I not care if a battery say maintenance free, can you clean off the top and remove the caps??? Then do it and learn how to check the water level. I not know how many people I have helped with a dead battery on the road. First thing I ask; "Did you check the water"? First thing they say; "It maintenance free"! The ones I have/could remove the caps and added water cranked without a jump!!! Maybe some can not be removed, but, many can. So, from this said, the best battery to buy; you *Can* add water to it when it needs it and not buy another because it was low on water.

It will depend on the battery and charger type, but with a 2 amp charger 4 to 5 hours then check the battery with a 12v meter.

here's how i do it and i have pretty good luck:
buy the battery from wal-mart, usually about $40
buy a deltran battery tender
hook the two together and leave alone until 100% charged
put in bike and ride, ride, ride!
when not riding for long periods put back on the super-smart tender for maintenance charging.
good luck

Yuasa will last twice as long as any brand made.
Other junk will be lucky to last through the winter.
