I have to do my learners again(legal issues) and was thinking of buying a GSX-R 600 (2000) and fitting a GSX 400F engine as it is learner legal in NSW. While i'm on the L plates i hope to heavily modify the 600. Need to know if its legal to do so in aus. Engineering is not a drama for me. Also any info on what range of power to weight i'd be looking at would be helpful.

I've been noticing an intermittent loud "hum" from the rear of the vehicle, but the operation of the vehicle seemed unaffected. Yesterday, the vehicle would not start. It would crank, but wouldn't start. This was accompanied by the aforementioned "hum" from the rear of the Jeep. Later on the Jeep did start, but I'm wondering if a faulty fuel pump is the cause of the noise and the inability to start the vehicle.

If so, does replacing the pump require removal of the fuel tank? Any tips on doing this? It seems like a total pain in the rump and anything that would make it easier would be appreciated. Thanks!

I recently cleaned the K&N air filter on my 2003 Ford Focus 2.0 liter Zetec and forgot to plug the air sensor back in and now my check engine light is on. The car runs fine and I tried disconnecting the battery to see if it would reset but the light is still on and won't go off. Any ideas out there that might help me solve this annoyance? Cleaned off the sensor element as I thought oil may have gotten on it but that didn't work either. HELP!!

Why does Yahoo! Answers not consider bicycles a form of transportation? Or, feet for that matter. These are two forms of tansportation that I use daily. I don't have a car and I don't use transit.

In this case, the auto dealer is in Indiana, and the co-signer is in Maryland. Is it legal to mail the papers or does the co-signer have to be present to sign by law?

I am not sure of the laws in Indiana regarding this.

Thanks for any info.
