I've built a few 383's with the 5.7" 350 rods, but I read that by using the 5.56"400 rods, you don't have to grind the block. Anyone done this? The r/s ratio is about that of a 454 so i dont think that will cause a problem. Any other areas it might affect?

I have a 94 chevy beretta. It keeps over heating. The shop says the water pump is fine. when it gets hot water pushes through the raid. cap. The strangest part is when I am not on the gas & coasting the temp rises. When I am on the accelarator it cools. My mechanic (Known for his good work) has even riged a x-tra fan on it & it still runs hot. It now sounds like a jet due to all the fans. Hoses are good therm. good new raid. cap. what else could it be ?

Commercial and military aircraft fly over my house all the time. I can barely see the plane but I can sure hear them. Can't someone make mufflers for them? Why doesn't the EPA noise level section make mandatory sound pollution control requirements for aircraft?

My new (to me) 2004 Nissan Sentra has recently started giving me some problems at start up. I used to be able to just turn the ignition switch and start. Now I find myself pumping the gas and/or turning off the radio and A/C, basically the tricks I learned to help my 87 Corolla start. After a pedal pump, it'll start right up, but I've only had this car since July. It's too new for this kind of thing. My dad thinks it's something with the fuel injectors (dirty I assume). Does this sound right?

I recently "bought" a car in Nashville, TN. The dealership said I was approved and I took the keys to the car and drove home. A few days later they call me in. I go in and they said financing fell through i need to pay more with a different company (drive financial). After much thought I said yes with $90 more a month and 24% financing. Well, I get a call last week from "service finance" a difference financier. They say that the dealership pulled my contract from the other company and gave it to them. I'm sick of this, I've had the car 3 weeks and want to give it back. I've read, reread and re-read the contract over again and noticed on the back that the contract is not binding if A. the dealership couldn't get financing from institution on front (drive financial). and B. if it is not accepted by manager and signed. I looked on the front of contract. It has my signature but not theirs. What should I do?

I have a 1982 Olds Delta 88 in excellent condition with 21,490 original miles. They dont make Olds anymore. My neighbor's male "friend" (who graduated Magna *** Numbnuts, from Know-it-All University) told me that as my car gets older it will depreciate with age instead of appreciating. What could I possibly get for this car and is he correct? (I live in Ohio--is anyone is seriously interested in buying my car)

If I make about $550 a month, will I have trouble qualifying for a $12,000 car loan? That's more than enough money to make the monthly payments, but do banks/dealers consider your monthly income in offering you loan? (ie. Will they deny people for not making a certain amount?)
