The ONLY thing that affects vehicle ride height, is the springs. Have the shops take a closer look at the springs. Do a ride height measurement check.

There could be many reasons for your dilemma. Springs are the first thing that comes to mind as this is one area that is greatly overlooked. You may want to check very closely to see if the unevenness you are seeing is uniform from front to rear on one side. If it is not, then I would look for a misalignment of body parts, i.e. fender, door, rear panel, etc. There is one other thing I personally have come across. Check to make sure that all your wheels are the same size and that the tires mounted on them are also all the same size. GOOD LUCK!!

Take off the rear shocks. See if car sits level. I had one with a frozen shock.
Is it the front or rear thats uneven? which side?
Check stablizer bushings and end links.

a much heavier person drove it for years, if it is uneven on the left side, if it's on the right side, then the passenger was very heavy.
