Depends on the plane, and where you are flying to/from.

Going to be a lot longer to fly from Chicago to somewhere in southern Tennessee than from Carbondale to somewhere in northern Tennessee.

Seriously though, I'd guess roughly 2 hours. It took 2 hours for me to fly from New Jersey to Georgia.

Depending upon where you are in IL and where you're going in TN, it could be as little as a couple of minutes.
