With the gas crunch such as it is and our dependence on other countries for fuel, I am seriously looking at alternatives for cars. What do you think about the new hybrid cars? Worth the risk? Do you think they will stick around and the price come down in a few years?

I cant seem to find this anywhere...in michigan, I know I have seen work vans that have no rear windows (standard ford econolines) to begin with, and have seen them with frosted contact paper on them. However, if the van is not a company vehicle, is it legal to have the rear windows constantly and completely obstructed? I am curious about this in both, Michigan and Colorado, as I figure it varies state to state.

THANKS!

I am going to trade in my vehicle for a new one - i bought it new. It is in good - excellent condition.. It is a 2004 Chevrolet Impala with 37000 miles. I have an excess amount in my GMAC loan that i will have to roll over by about $4,000..00 My question is: NEW CAR DEARSHIP ADS IN SUNDAY PAPERS. A "few" of the big name dealerships run full page "SPLASHY" ads in the Sunday auto sections. They advertise new vehicles well below the cost for the same s at their other local franchises. For instance One dealer has NEW 2006 Chevrolet Silverados (Not a misprint) for $9600.00, 2006 New Impalas for $15,000.00, New 2006 Equinox for $19,000.00 There are only a few dealers that offer these prices for my . They are in Outlying are locations. On the phone the dealer tells me the ad prices ARE within the range advertised. I have to get my ROLLOVER balance down without getting into a lesser .

I have heard that toyota is coming out with a new hybrid car that is similiar to the prius sometime in 2007. I heard that this car will be a plug in style electric and will also have a gas powered motor that will also charge the battery. It will suposedly be able to go 60 miles on the battery alone before the gas needs to kick in. Please help me find out what this car will be called, when it will come out, how much it will cost, and how i can sign up on the list so i can get one : ) all info helps Thanks in advance!

We don’t have to drive tiny cars, drill the Florida Coast or destroy valuable fields of corn to solve the gas crisis. We already have the alternative fuel we need. We can stop our absolute dependence on the Middle East and Exxon-Mobile in a matter of months. Seriously. The answer is simple and the fuel is already here, processed and ready to use. It's sitting on grocery store shelves and in deep fryers all across America.

The diesel engine was originally designed to burn vegetable oil. With a simple, cheap modification any diesel engine will burn vegetable oil. Ask your mechanic. Google it. It’s true. Not only will fresh Wesson get you there in a diesel, but the oil collected and dumped every day from restaurants and institutions across the country can be strained and poured right into your tank. How wonderful is that? A twice used fuel with no emissions and no dependency on anyone. No one. Not the Middle East and not the Oil Companies.

Tractor trailers criss-cross this country constantly burning thousands of gallons of diesel every day. Those engines could be modified to burn vegetable oil immediately. This would slash transportation cost, which is driving prices on everything we buy. Why don't we hear this on the news? Why aren't they shouting from the rooftops that every diesel from a Mercedes to a Tractor Trailer will burn vegetable oil? Greed. Imagine running out of fuel in the middle of the night. The only light in sight turns out to be a home. No gas, but Granny has vegetable oil in the kitchen. Pour it in your tank and you’re on your way. It's an oil executive’s nightmare.

The long and short term benefits of burning vegetable oil instead of fossil fuel are wide ranging. Fuel prices will drop to nothing. How does 40 or 50 cents a gallon sound? Without Co2 emissions Global Warming will return to normal, Child Asthma will virtually disappear and Los Angeles will lose it's infamous smog. Maybe best of all we will no longer need Middle East Oil. This takes countries like Iran out of the economic equation for us. They can't threaten us with oil we don't need. Sounds too good to be true, too easy to be real, but it's not. If we burn vegetable oil we will be healthier and wealthier, the Earth will begin to heal and our children will have a cleaner, brighter future.

.

We need cheap, clean fuel. The direction we choose now will plot a course for decades to come. Don't let Bought Politicians and Oil Companies decide our future on this. What's in our best interest is not in theirs.

You don't have to wait for someone else to do something about this. You can have your mechanic do it, or you can do it yourself. Visit www.GreaseCar.com and see how easy it is to burn Green. Take a look at the GreaseCar Profile below - He gets his fuel from the Thai Restaurant down the street. Pretty Exciting!

I really don't want to get a sportbike because those are just so uncomfortable and I really can't afford the bike I truly want (Harley VROD) so I'm settling for what I think is the next best thing, a Harley Sportster which is far less than what I would pay if I bought a VROD. Please let me know what you think I should do!

I have had only one previous ticket (in December), for which I went to traffic school. Will my insurance go up if I get a point on it?I am about to move 400 miles away... do I have to come back for court? Any chance I can take traffic school again? Do you know how much this ticket will be? It's a 22350-VC. Thanks.
