No pyramid schemes please. I am a college educated individual looking to start up a company. I have a few ideas tossing around, but nothing concrete as of yet. By little income I don't mean nothing, I can get a small business loan.

Okay a few days ago i started an ebay buisness with paypal. I listen 100 items before i actually had them them. Everyone payed me and i have like 5000 bucks. I spent 2000 on a car and another thousand on a vocation to florida. But i was never able to get the items becasue they went away. So now all these claims are being made on my paypal about un recieved items and stuff. I buisness failed. I still had 2000 in my paypal account in which paypal took to repay everone else but im 3000 grand in the red. This looks like fraud. If i pay back the money like 100 a month can anything happen to me since im paying the money back?

mine was working in a local bakery at 14 for cash "under the table" (no working papers!) and could take home whatever didn't sell for free at the end of the day. ate a lot of baklava! loved that fat envelope of cash every friday. maybe only had 60 bucks in it but is seemed like a lot at 14 to make in a week.

I have been both renting from this lady for a little over a year now. I pay her $300.00 per month basically just to be there and for my table space. The owner has been in this same location for about 8-9 years. She has not invested in it and the place looks like a dump considering how long she has been there. The place is attached to a hair salon and it has alot of walk in customers, this is primarily why i stay and i get along with the owner. As of recent she started looking for a new salon and her reason is that she wants something that is in a better location and less "ghetto" atmosphere. She asked me if i would want to be partner, but what gets me is that she is going back to school for social work after working for the past 10 years for herself as a nail tech. I have my reasons why i dont want to take her up on her offer, but i would like some honest opinons from others just to see if i am on the right track with my thinking regarding going in as co-owner.

I have already started selling a few things, but my client list is growing and I do not want to get into any trouble. I know I need a business license of some sort, but I am not sure what else I need. I do not have a store or anything yet, but I am trying to open up a merchant account because a lot of my business is online. Do I need a business name to open a merchant account? Thank you!
