mine was working in a local bakery at 14 for cash "under the table" (no working papers!) and could take home whatever didn't sell for free at the end of the day. ate a lot of baklava! loved that fat envelope of cash every friday. maybe only had 60 bucks in it but is seemed like a lot at 14 to make in a week.

My first job was at a donut shop. I was also paid "under the table" I loved the job but I hated my boss..He was a pervert! I got to make the donuts and eat them.haha We also got to take home the left overs for free. Ahh memories

Working for my Grandfather at his Hardware/Heating Business store when I was 10...did all odds and sod jobs plus learned how to do cash and balancing, and then as the years progressed, the actual running of a business.

Under 18 ? Working at the town pool in the summer .
Best 1st job over 18 ? Small diner owned by cook who taught me to waitress .
Restaurants and tips kept me alive and sheltered during college years .

McDonald's when I was 15. My hourly pay was at $4.25 and I flirted with all the cute girls more than I actually helped the customers. :D

my first job is at 18 and i am a hostess at an indian restaurant...8.50/hour plus free food...even tho its not a lot of money, i still love working there

at 15 i was a clown and i did balloon animals and painted kids faces at company parties, stores, restaurants kids night. i made $6/hr. it was fun, but i got a little sick of having to slather my face with clown makeup
