do i need a license for a vending machine business in miami Fl? I want to buy a few vending machines and make some money.

Be careful. In many places, the vending machine business is dominated by people with broken noses whose last names end in vowels. Being too competitive may be hazardous to your health.

Your city clerk is the one to tell you this. I only know this because I filled in for someone for six weeks at the City Clerk's office in Brookfield WI and they had me working on vending machine licenses for two weeks and bartender licenses for the other four.
Check your local phone book,under the 'government' section, for the city. The City Clerk will have a separate phone number in there.
