I am doing a little side business which will be dealing mainly with jewelry and designer bags... anybody have any catchy name ideas? I want something original not something you would expect... (i.e. funky fashion, fashionista, designer unlimited, etc.)

I'm on my way to my second career, earning my Bachelor's degree in Education. Being a student sometimes is synonymous with being poor when your paying for everything, and have two children in the home as well. I do have some time left for another venture, and really need to generate some additional income badly if I am to continue forward with the last year and a half of my degree. The goal is to not have to take on a second job away from home that would take me away from my kids more than what I am now. That just isn't possible. The business has to be a viable home based one, preferably something web based. One that is completely legitimate, not some sort of scam. I can supply more details about what I have to work with if you are a person that has opportunity, and would like to talk. I can be reached at maybcyaround@yahoo.com anytime. I thank you in advance, and look forward to reading your ideas!

The health inspector took threw away 3 weiners (hot dogs) 'cause they were on low? Was that the correct procedure for a bar that serves hot dogs and has a professional roller, sneeze guard and all the right requirements for serving hot dogs?

Stands are being targeted like crazy. If there is no cash I assume they wouldn't be targeted. Would this outweigh the possible loss in business by not dealing in cash.

The company I work for (sm. business) has recently started doing reference checks in order for our customers to open a credit account with us. I have a document for business to business checks, but nothing to send to their bank reference. Does anyone have a sample document they could send me (email or fax, I'll provide the number) or at least know what should go into the document? I just need to create a simple form, as basic as possible. I have checked online with no results, and have called banks and wind up on hold for an hour. Any help is greatly appreciated...Thanks

I am a retailer and I have been selling goods at prices heavily discounted from the RRP, on e bay undercutting my competitors. They say that I am devaluing their brand. My supplier has now said that though they cannot tell me what price to sell the goods at, they can refuse to supply me any more. Is this allowed?

An employee of my small business has lost a number of receipts made on the company credit card. I've tried seeing if the vendors could reissue one, but they are saying no.

Does he/she have to repay the company?

How does this work for accounting purposes?

Some were small expenses like a 10 dollar train ride, but others were substantially larger (250 dollars at the postal service)?

What to do?

I was thinking of opening an online shop, i don't have a name yet, depends whats taken i guess, anyway, the idea was that I'd go around shops and buy the stuff they have on sale, for example if I saw a really cheap MP3 player, I could buy loads of them. Then I'd put them on my shop, add 50p-2 pound onto the price and sell it there. It would still be a good price, and I'd be able to make a profit and keep the site running, what do you think?
