You don't want much do you?

You have to do a little of the work yourself - no one is going to write up all your work stuff for free! Are your services going to be free to everyone too?

If you want do run your business properly then you need to pay someone to do your website for you. Websites on free spaces look cheap, untrustworthy and unprofessional. Would you buy something from a company whose website was dodgy? No I didn't think so.

You need to reserve your domain name such as "companyname.co.uk, companyname.com or companyname.org" one of them will be free usually or you can put hyphens in to make it original. You will need to pay the host a yearly (usually small) fee for using this name. They will send you a certificate confirming that you are the owner of that domain name.

You will then need someone who knows how to use FrontPage (or learn how to use it yourself) or DreamWeaver to design your page. A basic website design should be around £300. If you want Flash movies and more content it will be more obviously.

Yahoo Small Business has a design package that is really easy to use. They have very cost effective hosting and excellent support.

You don't want free hosting and design for a small business website.

If you are going to build a site for business purposes, make sure to get your own domain name. Its cheaper than you think. Here is a guide to getting started: http://www.richkahmer.com/build-a-website.html

Will your business be free of charge to your customers?
What have you got and where can I get it (if of interest to me)?
