Go to a local university and have them produce the prototype on their rapid prototying equipment. Universities (especially state-supported ones) get in big legal trouble if they're unethical.

make them sign a contract, and document EVERYTHING you do....drawings, sketches, prototypes everything....having documentation lets you go to court if necessary, and provides proof of your creation...Good Luck!
