I've been baking since I was 6 years old and have a small side unofficial business where I sell my cakes and desserts to friends and coworkers. My next step is to open up a shop to sell my cakes/desserts. But do I have to have the Pastry Chef diploma?

My local retial store will be hosting a grand opening in the next month and I need some creative ideas. I'm sick of the whole bounce house and hot dogs idea - I want something new and unique. What are the best things you have seen and best attended events you have held?

THANKS

I am looking to run my own small business selling trading card games, role-playing games, anime, manga, and selling a variety of specialty drinks and teas. I have seen a few businesses in my area that do the same, but I cannot find their license information on the Secretary of State's website in Louisiana. Am I missing something?

I document (create workflows) and analyze business processes to optimize efficiency.
What do you think of ‘Diedrich Analytics’? (Is using my last name a good idea, or is something simple more effective?)
What is an adjective to describe the best means to an end in terms of efficiency, when referring to a single process? What is an adjective to describe interrelated activities brought together for the purpose of mapping and analyzing them? Or, a title for ‘the more you know, the better your business’….thanks

I purchased a 44,000 sq feet grocery store (previously Save Rite). I currently used SuperValu to stock my shelves. However, their are extra empty aisles because my store is bigger than the average grocery store. Have any ideas to add more selection? Help is much appreciated

I always wanted to go into business but never knew what to charge. I really am going into the video production business now and I feel anxious about figuring out rates. I have never taken a business class. I'm hoping there is a simple formula or a list of what all to consider.
