I have never had a business so far, this would be my first time. I want to know where I could get the resources for handicrafts and how to network.

A good starting point would be a visit to Pondi: meet some helpful people who have done what you intend to do, gather as much information and advice as you can. do a market survey, matching the resources, cost, effort etc., with the demand and prospects of finding buyers/customers and, finally the net profit. and, of course, the govt. angle: the law, tax, service tax, cess etc. good luck!
