A friend of the family recently passed on and left the house to me and three other people. We are trying to sell ASAP being that none of the parties are interested in living in it. We have a cash offer on it -hopefully this will go ahead with no problems. What costs should I be prepared for?? does anyone have any information sites to suggest??? Thanks so much.

Where can I find motivated sellers, not sellers who are just testing the waters to see what they can get for their home. I want to find a Good Deal! Maybe a homeowner who is in process of foreclosure and need to sell at a discounted price below market value. I am buying the property for investment purposes. Any realestate broker or agent who is willing to find me a DEAL?

I own a condo in MI and I am having problems with the maintains of the ground directly outside my door. There is a 10’ x 4’ mud pit outside my sliding door caused by a draining problem with the gutters. Every time it rains or the sprinklers turn on the run off goes down the corner of my patio. This has and is washing the soil away from my patio causing it to lean and creating the mud pit. This has been like this for almost 3 years now. I have made many verbal and written requests for this to be fixed to no avail. I have not been able to use my patio for the last 2 summers due to the mosquitoes and this summer I have a new baby that loves to be outside. I have contacted the association 5 times this summer already and was told each time we will send someone out in a week and they never did. I was told I could open an escrow account for my dues until this is fixed and they can not charge me late fees or foreclose. Anyone know anything about this or what I can do?

I am looking at buying my first home and in the process I have stumbled upon some Foreclosed homes. Is this a good idea, MUCH cheaper as far as I can see but seems too good to be true. Has anyone else ever bought a foreclosed house? Where is the best place to look for these homes? Is there any negatives to these homes? What do I need to watch out for?

A mugging occurred and a purse was snatched with personal belongings. Would renter's insurance cover the theft of one's purse while on the landlord's parking lot?
