Has a new manager...over zealous little thing. Anyway, she wouldn't allow me to deposit my GOVERNMENT ISSUED PAYROLL check without a 3 day hold on it. I used to work at a bank and I never heard of such thing. She also wouldn't let me cash it and deposit right after.

Is this normal?

My Direct Deposit has not started yet. Now I have to PRAY nothing bounced and I have to go back to the bank AGAIN TODAY. Waste of time, money and energy.

I need to take action but still need to complete this lease without breaking it

What are my options

I confronted her and told her flat out that shyt isnt cool
and you need to leave my mail in the mailbox and let me retrieve it on my own time

She is a thief and has been fired from numerous jobs for looking into personal accounts

(found this out months into the lease)
and she steals...so I placed a lock on my door

Please let me know what to do....

because we share the same first name she says its a mistake

But only opens Credit card info and things from the IRS

I have been on the IRS website and it lists the maximum amount of money that you can earn and still qualify to collect the EIC credit if you are married with children, but I am not sure what the cut off is if you are single. Does anybody know? ( I am a single mom with 2 kids- and the only person who claims them.)

Also this is the first question I have ever asked.... and I realize that there is a spell check here. How come so many questions have terrible spelling?

I do some computer work on the side, and I was nicely informed after 3 years that I needed to close and what I was doing was a hobby - since I claimed too many losses. Now I am asked to fill out a W-9 by someone I'm working for. Should I panic? What should I do... I can just give them my SS#.... The form is confusing.

Thanks.

I was recently told that you can literally "give back" your Social Security Number. That, with all of the problems in the government and the management of our Social Security, someone can actually elect to opt out of the Social Security program and cash out whatever contribution they've made so far. I know the identity, medical care, license, work, and housing problems associated with not having one. I'm curious though, about the actual legality of it.

Can you really give it back if you are willing to put up with the inconvenience? Could you earn more if you were to invest that money yourself, with the shape that the Social Security Program is in? Is that a financially wise move to make? Is it even technically, legally possible?

I recently made a purchase on Ebay for 540.00 dollars. I used Paypal to make my payment but the seller stiffed me. Paypal will investgate the case but most of the time you never get your full amount of money back. I bought the item for and Xmas gift and now I am out 540.00. Can you take legal action against a seller? he is out of state BTW.

Children these days think they need to live the lifestyle of their parents without working for it. They think it should be given to them. Well some do. Not all.

I heard there are two different types, and one type is better. It has something to do with taxes. Obviously, I want my money to accumulate the fastest with the most freedom for my baby boy. I live in Illinois.

My mom recently went to the hospital. Now she has about 32000.00 in bills from them. She wants to set up payment as she lives on a fixed income. The hospital is trying to tell her that they will take my house that I live in and will be passed on to me and my kids when she passes away and it was my grandmas before then. It is still in her name but they are trying to force her to sell to get all the money now which means I and my kids will be out of a house a family heirloom. Can the hospital force her to sell or take over her house ? I told her as long as she pays at least 100.00 a month they can't do anything other than try to report her to credit agencies. Also I told her we should go ahead and make the title switch to me so we can ensure nothing will happen. Can anyone give me advice? What can we do legally and what can the hospital do?

I used a self checkout machine at a grocery store yesterday. I put $70.00 in cash in the machine and planned to put the rest on my ATM. I swiped it, ok'ed that I did not want cash back and collected my groceries. The total was $79.33. As I was leaving I noticed on my recipt the total amount was charged to my card and there was no record of the $70.00 I put in. I was told to go to customer service which told me there was nothing they could do until tomarrow morning. "The machine should not have accepted the cash." It sounded to me like they thought I was lying! She took my info and said she would call me. I then asked for a manager. Manager came reviewed the video and said she could not tell if I put money in the machine. She said she would call early. This afternoon I call and they said they had no record of this. In short I got the money back after driving all the way out there again today( twenty minute drive). I am still very upset about the way I was treated. What should I do next

I just got a 45k settlement, and my lawyer will take 33%. Should I travel or should I make a down payment on a house? I already have 6 k in savings. Should I put the money in a CD? I don't know what to do with it.
