Why aim your sites so low. You can make a good living if you work for yourself.

Start out working for some one else to see how much they are charging and to find out where they get their cleaning materials cheap. Build up your own tools (mops, brooms etc.) then eventually start up your own business on weekends.

Within a year or two, you can own your own business.

Remember:

If you aim for nothing, you will hit it every time.

It depends on which section of the country you live in, but it is possible once you get established and get a reputation for honesty and good work. Pays a lot better than Wal-mart on McDonalds. When my wife's place of work went out of business, she did that for a while and made as much as she was making.

I'm an 83 year-old fraidy cat. Would like to make some money. Nobody like to hire older people. Need advice.

Thank you.

You can make a living if you can survive on minimum wage or close to it.
