I have over $4500 of credit card debt spread out among six different credit institutions as well as a car payment and then the obvious monthly utilities, rent and such. I cannot meet the minimums most months and am falling behind on some. My credit score isnt good enough to get one card to lower my payments. Should I consolidate my debt?

Okay so I contribute to my 401k weekly but I will have some extra money at the end of the year and was wondering if I put it in my Trad IRA will I still get to deduct it?

And yes under normal cirmcumstances I will qualify for the deduction but I was wondering if the money i put into the Tradition IRA account will be pre-tax if I already have a 401k. if not would it be better if I put it into a Roth or is there a way I can just shove the extra cash into my 401k

I am not quite 2yrs our of BK and am in immediate need a Personal Installment Loan. I attempted to do payday loans without understanding fully, that the weekly payments were not against principal, but interest. I need to consolidate but are turned down because of my BK (less than two years), and consolidation companies also tell me that my debt is not substational enough to qualify. I make a comfortable salary, however, payday loans interest fees compromise a lump sum weekly. I am on top of the matter, but barley. I do not have a cosigner, so that is not an option. What Companies are available to assist persons like myself?

Do they not like the truth? Do they think that avoiding the obvious will somehow change something? Do they think that if they just don't think about it it will go away?

hi,
Doing finances in excel, is there anyway of making a button that says PAID and UNPAID then removes the amount in that line from the sum of direct debits?

eg
Sky >click paid>> direct debit line removes sky amount and shows a new total of the others that are still unpaid

I just switched over from a Savings Account to a Checking Account. They told me that my debit car should come in in about 14 bsiness days. They only gave me five free checks to use. Those are almost gone. Its been about 3 business days. I have no pocket money. I am running low on gas, minutes for my phone, and other stuff. What do I do? I need to get money. My check is deposited directly into my bank. I need money for gas to get back and forth to work everyday. No body will lend me money either. What am I supposed to do?

Hi folks. Please help with advise. I have a portfolo of 3 mutual funds in a Traditional IRA and another Roth IRA with 3 similar funds. All are Agressive Growth funds, with a small amount in a balenced fund. I am 34, have about 3 years to go. Total assets is about 60K. I have a hands off advisor who is not watching my stuff. What are the best moves I should make? Out of mutual funds to SP500 Index funds, Overseas funds?, What about EFTs, or SPYdrs? Bonds vs Bond funds? What % weighting should it be if i move? Do I do this myself or get another advisor? Is the total value too small to have any choices? What about induvidual stocks? Comments please.

I just talked with my boss this morning. I was not getting paid that amount that we verbally agreed on (please, I know I should have gotten it in writing). I asked him a month ago, and he said I should be getting paid the amount that I expected. However, when I approached him again today, he said "No, thats not what we agreed on." Do you think he could fire me for asking this? I didn't want to make any waves, but what was I supposed to do in that situation?

Here is my tip to you. Watch what you are really spending at the grocery store by looking at the cost per use on the tag. It is little and will read like this 2.2 per ounce, use, pound etc.. It is supposed to be on every tag in the grocery store. This helps me know what I am really paying for the product without guessing from the look/size of the box.

A year ago he deposited a check from a client in his own checking account(let's call it account A). For some reason, he wrote himself a check for that amount using Account A and deposited in account B (joint with me). A few days later, the clients check didn't clear for insuficient funds, and of course his check into account B got problems as well. Bank A closed his account for "fraud" and Bank B closed our account for fraud. He paid the money back right away when he was informed that the checks were not good, etc. When we tried to open another account (joint) the bank rejected him (this was Bank C). I suspect banks pass on information about this kind of transactions. When will his "name" be cleared? I have my own checking account, but am afraid to add him on and then have it closed on me because of his history, although this was about 18 months ago. When can he open his own account?
