While I would like to hear from everyone, I'd especially like to hear from Americans and Canadians. Thanks. I have heard averages from anywhere from $1000 to $8000. I'd like to get a sample average to see where the truth lies. Thank you very much!

American here and Iam credit card free. I just paid mine off and I closed out the account. My advice to all of you build up and emergency fund slowly of 3-6 months of income... oh and by the way xmas is not an emergency it comes every year so expect it lol.

Hi, I'm American, and I am currently not in Credit Card debt. I charge very little, and always pay the bill off in full each month.

5600 and counting. Add another grand to that for xmas holiday overspending.....
at an interest rate of 12% (assuming I dont default) I will pay more than double that over the course of the 'loan'....
If you can avoid the debt, please do
