I got divorced 9 years ago and my ex-wife was suppose to have my name taken off of the home loan. She never did this and I had to threaten legal action before she and her new husband went and refinanced the house, paying this loan off. Problem is that they fell behind many times and it affected my credit. I have a copy of the divorce decree which says she's responsible.
How do I get the loan company to remove this from my credit file or do i need to contact each bureau??

A bank where for 12 yrs my wife's disability check is direct deposited has been charging $5/day overdraft fees. It seems as though all her checks bounce because they hit the account first. She's very good with $$. If she was off by$1.83 and they tap her for $5/day until the first, it gets costly, and they make any and all future transactions NSF and then they charge more $5/day. It doesn't seem right... Any help?? Can they really do that? I'm going to insist she move her account, but what about the money already gone? This is getting to be a good bit of money!!!! Can the bank be forced to give it all back?

I am a female salesperson not making as much as the male salespeople. We are a small company, 5 offices, 70 employees. I have brought this up to my boss and he has told me I'm being riduculous. (Not the court part, just the part about being treated unfairly.)

Ok-Im not looking for people to tell me I am stupid for wanting a loan to pay off my bills. I could go to my parents for that. I need to know the best options for me such as consolidate, get a loan, or just go bill by bill and pay it off. Please keep all snotty comments to yourself. I am here for help, not put downs. Thanks.

Now what? I work two jobs now and have been trying as hard as I can to keep my head above water. Single parent and the son just finished vocational school. I am guessing I have to get a lawyer and look into debit re-organization or bankruptcy now? Are these my only options now? Just mortified by all this.

i claimed £2500 of unfair bank charges and my bank refunded the money twice. they spotted the mistake straight away and corrected it. can the bank withdraw the money without my consent. i thought once money entered your account it belonged to you and they couldnt touch it without your permission.

Can I get a cashier's check or money order that doesn't show my name on it? I don't mind if the bank knows my name, I just don't want the recipient to see it.

I bring money whenever i go out, but i've always got friends asking me to lend them some money because they were too lazy to bring their own. I usually have to wait 2 weeks just to get my money back (I'm talking about small money).
Whats a good way to tell my friends that I'm not going to lend them money without looking so selfish?
