I am a female salesperson not making as much as the male salespeople. We are a small company, 5 offices, 70 employees. I have brought this up to my boss and he has told me I'm being riduculous. (Not the court part, just the part about being treated unfairly.)

If you are able to prove this then a lawyer who specializes in workplace discrimination would most likely take your case on contingency. You would have to provide the lawyer with concrete proof. You would need your sales records as well as those of your co-workers. It is up to you to prove that you are being treated differently by your employer.

Be careful. When you make allegations regarding sexual discrimination, you must have hard proof. Companies take these things very seriously. A lawsuit is not in anybody's best interest.

Are you sure that being female is the only reason you are making less, or do they have more experience or a better sales record?
