Can an IRA be moved into a living trust? Can a living trust be named as the beneficiary of an IRA, if the IRA owner is still alive?

Has anyone had any success with those debt consolidations that they advertise on tv? If so which one did you go with? & are there any catches? Thanks so much!

I am maxed on the 401k contibutions thru my employer. IRA and Roth IRS only let you contribute $X per year. What are money markets? Should I just open a mutual fund account and invest it that way? I'm in my fourties and will continue to work.

Hi

Couple living in michigan, with income that varies from $200 - $300 a month maximum but state wont give us any benefits necause i run my own business they take the entire business earnings into account rather then what i made after business expenses

Also i am origionally from another country and have not lived here 5 years so they have to class us a s a single instead of a couple cos im not allowed to claim anything

We need over $1000 a month to survive keep things running pay the bills and eat etc but the government seems quite happy to let us carry on with only $200-$300 a month barely enough to feed the two of us.

Wife has no job been searching for almost 6 months now, got laid off last job.

Im working hard to make the money and she is working hard to find a job but it just isnt happening how do they expect us to love what can we do

It seems government isnt willing to help until everything falls apart, until the business goes bust, and were kicked out to streets

I am a 22 year old female with a Bachelor's degree. I have been working for a year and plan on working one more year. Then, I was going back to school (law school) in August 2008. I have a salary paying job with excellent benefits. My focus is on saving and investing my money. I also want my own place, but I am not sure which is best (apartment, condo, townhouse). I am currently paying off loans, credit cards and my car note. I am interested in investing in property and enhancing my wealth. Please give me some advice.

I'm nowhere near ready to buy, but want to do so in about 4 years. I hope to save $40,000 at the very least. I want to figure out how much I can afford on a monthly mortgage with my and my husband's projected income 4 years down the line. We live in a major city and will probably be stuck getting a condo to start with, so I have to factor in condo fees.

Thnx!

My fiance and I have been debating about the best way to manage our money/spending. Weve been nit-picking a lot on how to arrange the bills so they're paid evenly and whos turn it is to pay for groceries or gas etc. My fiance seems to think we should we perhaps keep all our money in a single bank account and take it out as we need it for shared and personal expenses? One suggestion Ive come up with is to have seperate accounts and credit cards for our individual/personal expenses, and a joint credit card account for our shared expenses groceries/rent/bills/gas etc. At the end of every month we would just split the joint credit card balance between the two of us and all the bills would be shared equally. It just seems that if couples shared a single account there would be a lot of bickering over why and how much money was being spent on certain things like shoes or motorcycle parts. Any suggestions?

I am going to be taking out a loan from a bank in order to pay off all of my credit card debt. On a few of my cards, I am over 30 days late on payments. Citi Card is calling constantly, lol. On some cards, I am caught up, but may be behind by the time I receive the funds from the loan. Would it be possible for me to negotiate with the credit card companies to reverse all late/over limit fees by tempting them that I will pay in full if they comply? Would they potentially be willing to reverse more than the current late/over limit fees? Either way, I will pay them in full...but I want to save as much $ as possible in the process.

I have his home phone number, I know his name, but, what it is available for me to get my money back, or, make this dirt bag pay.
I learned my lesson of not accepting checks from nobody.. please help guys! Anything is appreciated

Thanks!

I lost a trial and the defense attorney filed for attorney's fees for $100,000. My lawyer filed motion to dismiss and they soon dropped the motion for attorney's fees.

But the judge presiding over the case is a nutjob. She scolded my lawyer for filing the case (even though it was 100% legit) and pretty much tried to persuade the defense to refile for attorney's fees, even though the 60-day window has passed.

Here's my question: so if the defense re-files for attorney's fees and prevails, what legal recourse do I have???? The judge is a real nutjob and she even admitted in court to not even reading over our motions!!!!!!

So what can I do if that happens? Is there a way to overturn it on the grounds that she overstepped her bounds by encouraging the defense to refile and not do it within 60 days?????? Shouldn't she be disbarred for such a thing???? What are my chances I can prevail??? (THIS IS IN LA COUNTY, CA, USA)

My lawyer's away so can't ask him = (
