assumptions are that the single parent debts far exceeded his assets. Also the child is a legal adult and would be named in a will of the deceased single parent. If the child doesn't assume the debt and have to pay it off, then what happens to the debts. thank you!

In this crazy world (don't lecture me unless you're rich)
every penny truly does count, what with rent, car payment, car insurance, phone bill, excise tax, cable, and other amentities.......not including student loans or even credit card bills, even making considerable average or decent salary full time doesn't ensure you'll have much to save or to use as discrectionary.

I want to budget, only thing is I get paid only twice a month.

I want to get a part time job but what places will allow a 27 year old to work 15 hours per week? Don't say restaurant....

I work hard at my full time job......so no patronizing responses from you "I grew up fast when I was 16" crap.

Thank you.

I have looked online but cant seem to find anything. I just need the fees for cashiers checks and stuff like that. Also the way they handle deposits and the bank cut off times. Just some general questions. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.

My fiance and I are in desperate need of moving out but we do not have any money for a deposit. I have bad credit, his is good, but he has only had it for about a year.

We will probably need about $3,000-3,500.

Is there a good place I can try??

my brother is moving in my parents place. Me and my sister have been making contributions to support our parents every month for the past 18 years, and my brother only started doing it in the past couple of years.

It looks like my brother wanted to stay in the house and claim ownership of it after a while. My parents are fond of him and may transfer the house to his name.

What can I do to make sure we all get equal share? it's not a big house but it will be absolutely unfair to both of us. Can we make our parents draw up a will now?

Any comments are appreciated.

Hypothetical situation:

A friend asks you to hold $20,000 for him in cash, and says in about 6 months he will ask for it back in increments, like $2000 per month or so...

Can anything be done with this amount in that time frame investment wise? Can you make a couple of bucks for you, safely so as not to loose the principal? If so how?

Please give me your insightful opinion. 29 months left out of 60months. Only have 10,000 mile left? I really would like to hear from people who have been through this?????

The contract stipulates the loan will be repaid in one year from the borrowing date at 6%. I've emailed with this person who said they would repay - but I haven't heard from them in about 1 month. They won't return email. What are my options to legally force this person to repay his loan?

So I listed all my items for 3 days and I didn't put a minimum price so now it looks as if someone could win the auction with a few dollars. Did I royally screw this up?

I'm 24 yrs old and my fiancee is 27, we want to get married asap - my ideal wedding will cost about £10,000, we also want to go travelling before we settle down properly, which will cost around £3000, and then we want to buy a house, the deposit for which will probably set us back around £10,000. But as we only have a joint annual income of £35,000 along with loads of bills to pay, it all seems so impossible and expensive. Anyone got any advice?

What time (if there is one) do direct deposits normally go into banks... Its 7:30am here and I just checked but it hasnt gone thru yet... Should I stop checking until tomorrow, or should I wait until the bank opens (around 9-10am) And is there a chance it would still go in today?

Thanks in advance
