The only way to make this fair is to split it evenly between everyone. Are one of two of your children worth more than your other children? Of course not. So, if in the end they get less, so what? It will save from a lot of hard feelings down the road between all the siblings.

There is no such thing as fair. That statement is more true in this case than in general. You should definitely consult with an attorney. State may have laws that will override your intent if the working is not correct. You need to be sure the will actually does whatever you intended for it to do.

What exactly are we talking about? A will? If the parent is the parent of all 6 kids they should all get an equal share.
