I bought something from ebay and now the seller is willing to refund me back, I pay it with my debit card through paypal, and now the refund will go directly to my debit card, I was wondering if I can call paypal and told them that I want to put it in my paypal account instead of my debit card, can I do that? Thanks!

it already says that the money will be refund directly to my credit card (or debit card in this case) on paypal. Since I used that as the way of payment.

Usually goes back into your paypal account.

Paypal prefers to just 'hold' the refund in your Paypal account. For them, it's 'free' money that they can invest.

They will transfer the money to your checking account (debit card) but you specifically have to request it, and it takes several days. Again -- so that they can 'hold' your money without paying you interest.

For a small amount, or funds that you expect to spend again online soon, leave it in PayPal and save the hassle.

The seller will refund to your PayPal account. They don't even know there is a debit card. PayPay will only transfer the money to your checking account if you tell them to do so.
