im getting some back each month but less and less than oringianlly stated nothing was signed he promises he will pay it all back its just i need it all now and he says he doesnt have it is there anything i can do?

boy, im glad i learned a long time ago to NOT lend out money.

i can't imagine loosing my LIFE SAVINGS.

my mother always told me. don't ever tell anyone how much money you have. she was right!

your money is gone -- another is now in control of it.


never lend what you can't afford to lose completely.


and if you do 'lend', even to family, always assume you'll never see any of it back.

as for any family member who doesn't understand why you won't 'lend' to them -- what they need is either a job, to cut spending, or to file bankruptcy, not a 'loan'.

Yes.
Never, ever, ever loan him money again.
Reconcile yourself to the fact that you may never see that money again, and start planning to go on without it.
I'm afraid that is it.
