I am a finance student doing a project with a company's financial statements. I want to calculate Debt over assets.

My problem is that the company has listed its stock options that the executives may exercise in the future as debts in the annual statement. I know this is usually not on the balance sheet, but should I add these options in when calcuation the above ratio?

I would like to know what the rule is in both accounting and finance regarding if stock options are debt.

My brother and I have been in the collection business (working for well known successful companies) and now want to venture out on our own. Can anyone advise us on how we may start? We're both extraordinary collectors but lack the knowledge of buying paper and initiating the business itself. We live in Las Vegas by the way.

> What is related selling activity ?
> What is related buying activity ?
> If : On January 30, Tensing Company purchased supplies of $2,000. The supplies were all consumed in February
Then according to me : The supplies should be charged to Supplies Expense in January and no adjusting entry is needed until the supplies are used in February. Is that correct !

Thanks.

Directors shares and ownership?
I want to offer someone around 10-15% of my company i and my partner have 50% 50% - so this new person is coming in she wants 20% equity - I dont want to giver any directorship to this person just in case it gets messy however this person i would offer the 20% of the sale of the business once completed - so could i get a contract sigened that if the business was ever to be sold we would offer 20% of the sale to her. What kind of power does that one 20% holder have of if was to give ownership of 20% equity? does everyone have to agree on a business decision do we have to justify what we do to that person if 20% - what does having more than 50% mean to that director what about having 80% does that person have more say. UK law im in the UK

Does anyone else notice that sellers have rock bottom prices, but then you see the shipping cost and it's unbelievable.

Granted there are things that deserve the price and shipping cost you see, but others have outrageous shipping costs for things that don't even compare to how much you see from the websites of UPS, USPS, and FedEx. I know they need the packing materials but they can be found for a dime-a-dozen.

Do people try to make a profit from their shipping?

I have printed off the internet a 400 page lighting manual. What are my options for getting it into a book-like format so that I can easily read it?

As far as I can tell, most office stores only will bind something for you if they print it off. I opted out of this because of cost considerations. Are they able to bind (or 3-hole punch) documents that they did not print? If so, then at what price?

Doing this at home is not an option. The pages are a combined thichkness of 2 inches. I am looking for any service that can hole punch or bind already printed documents for a reasonable price. If they can hole punch it, I can put it into a three-ring binder myself.

I was supposed to receive a $50 rebate. It's months already and it never came. Whenever I call, there is no way to speak to a representative.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and they just emailed me saying that the company is not responding to them and they are closing the case.
What can I do now? Small claims court? Any ideas?
Please help!!! Thanks so much!
