I had a proposal to re-stucco a rental property I own. he quoted me $15,000 for the entire project. He later charged me $16,850. I agreed to pay him $15,590, but did not think I should have (I gave him a detailed list of reasons). He claims there was more work that he had not seen. What can I do?

I need to help raise some money for my robotics team from school and I know a few companies I could ask but I don't know the format for pleading for sponserships or grants or something.
Who do I address it to?
How do I format it?
What things should I say and not say?
If you can answer any, that would be great!

How do I get it to her reliably, and untraceably? Does the post office have "sniffers" or anything that can detect cash? I know sending cash is risky. Other methods? Gold? Rare stamps? Suggestions please.

I bought a phone, paid through paypal... never received the phone. I have opened a dispute in paypal, but the seller hasn't bothered to reply to my e-mails so I don't expect any communication through paypal. Tonight I tried to get the sellers phone number only to discover that they are no longer a registered user. I am very p*ssed off and wonder what I can do now? I e-mailed ebay and am quite reluctant to take it further through paypal cause they'll charge me to get my money back! Grrrr!

Am I just overwhelmed? Is it not that bad?

You are told to deposit the money and send it to their designated agent and then they will send you your winnings ($225,000.00) once you do. The strange thing is that it is a Wells Fargo Bank check that looks legit! Are they just trying to get my account number? If the check goes through and I decide to keep the money, would I be held responsible if something went wrong or would they be the ones to get in trouble? It all smells a little fishy to me, but this one is a first!
